HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to meeting new people and discovering their city and culture. But am also happy to show people around over here, let them see how things work in the Netherlands.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any CS experience yet, have heard great positive things about it and I would love to add to that list with my first experience!

兴趣

Things that grab my attention are the little beautiful things in life, a look into an alley and seeing daily life, having fun with friends, baking a lovely cake.
I'm a not too bad hoopdancer. And just got certified too as a level 1 teacher, I'd be happy to teach you!
Big fan of yardsales, 2nd hand markets, thriftstores and vintage shops too, just too bad my house does not handle all the stuff I bring in very well since it's small. But whenever I can I browse them all and just enjoy the little gems you can find there.

from cheap happily-ever after books to the more serious stuff. Same goes for movies, pretty easy going on that too! Music style ranges from world music to daily popmusic, but generally all music that makes me happy. (or suits my mood otherwise :)

I cannot just name 1 thing here, and this shortlist doesn't even begin to describe all the amazing things I've seen. Yet I still want to discover way more on this beautiful earth!
The opening week of the Olympics in Beijing were surreal, from seeing the opening ceremony semi live and on tv at the same time, to seeing a boxing match, a weightlifting match and archery.
Lake Baikal in Russia was such an amazing experience, so cold and so enormous. And the depth and clarity of the water wow.
The Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofia in Istanbul also blew my mind, such an impressive place where history just hits you in the face.

I can teach you how to hoopdance. And I'm a really good baker/cook happy to teach you my lavender-honey cupcake recipe! I love sharing my travel stories and hope to hear and learn new things from other travellers too!
I'm also (almost) an English Teacher, so if you want to brush up on your English I'm happy to help!
