About Me

Hello! My name is Natalie, a happy person. Born and raised in Belgium and living in Mallorca since 2015. Have gone through a lot but I am proud of the self made superwoman I've become ;-). I love life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I find it such an enriching experience to connect with locals when travelling. I've been Couchsurfing and hosting in the past (about 10 years ago) and I made friends.

Thanks to my job I still get to travel a lot and meet people from all over the world and it just makes my heart sing.

I haven't been using Couchsurfing as I didn't 'need' it. I have been travelling a lot but more in Europe to places that I knew, or to visit friends or for work purposes with hotel and where I got to meet locals through my work.

But now, I'm having the travel vibes and wanderlust butterflies in my stomach. I want to discover NEW places so I reactivated my account!

Interests

I love travelling (off course), being creative, discovering, exploring, singing, dancing, eating and cooking! I creave deep conversations about all the things of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into a lot of different kinds of music, depending on my mood. It goes from silly pop songs to classical masterworks, funky rnb, deep house, EDM, acoustic guitar music etc...

Currently reading 'the book of chakra's' of Osho and 'the four hour work week' of Tim Ferriss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I've done something that still gives me butterflies. I went on a last-minute trip (as in: 'organised two days in advance') to another island close to Mallorca; Menorca: to find a virgin beach and spend the night underneath the stars.

Last year I camped on a watch tower, with amazing views over the sea. I wasn't wel equipped and had the worst night ever when it comes to sleep (when I finally fell asleep around 4am, I woke up again because it started to rain! ). But it was such an amazing adventure! First we hiked up the mountain to get to the watch tower, there we made an open fire to warm up our food, we slept under the stars and the next morning went skinny dipping in the sea. When I got home at noon the next day, I jumped in the shower and slept the rest of that day hahaha.

Teach, Learn, Share

You will most likely regret the things you haven't done, instead of the things you've done. SO: when you feel like doing something, just do it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I'm currently living with a roommate I don't have the possibility to host others, but I can guide you around my city (Palma) and the island, which is beautiful. Truly a gem in the meditteranean sea!
