About Me

Guys, I'm currently travelling. I'll resume hosting second week of August though!

ABOUT ME

Dad says I'm a doer, and whatever he means by that, I think he's right.

I'm 30 and I currently live semi alone, since my absolutely awesome grandma had to move in with me due to her progressing age and health illnesses. She is 88 and doesn't speak a word of English, but trust me, she'll win your heart in a matter of minutes.
I have two old dogs I adopted several months ago from the dog shelter (Poker and Bunia) and 3 bunnies that run freely around the room (Akacja, Olcha, Azalia). They're also adopted. So if you wish to stay with me, you'll have to put up with quite an adorable crowd!

It took me a while to find my career path and so I have completed 3 uni courses. I enjoyed the process more than I could say: I sometimes wish I could just go back to those days where you didn't have to turn up to work and stay in bed reading books and drinking tea in your jammies!

Speaking of work: I run a language school with my dad (whom you're most likely to meet- he's totally cool and hyper active!). I love my job wholeheartedly and I wouldn't swap it for anything in this world (well, may be with the exception of a permanent globtrotter...).

On the side, my passion is learning... but not necessarily the book type. I love rock climbing, diving (now that I'm officaly a rescue diver even more so!), windsurfing, kitesurfing, cycling, backpacking. I'm not particularly good at any of these things, but I just enjoy the process.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever works for you, I'm way too old to be judgemental. Dad says it's ok to do whatever you want in life, just don't hurt others during the process. That's one of my favourite advices that I follow.
Another one is about enjoying life and embracing it as much as you can.

I have a deep need to learn and experience and see new things. It doesn't mean I'm always out and about... on the contrary, I spend a lot of time crafting, cooking, sewing and youtubing at home. However, if you wanna do something last minute, I feel I'm the person to call!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I gosted both in Poland and Nepal and it's always been an amazing experience. I love showing people around, introducing them to my Polish world:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a little in the US, Australia and New Zealand. I have also been hosting a little and it's been so much fun. I really enjoy having people over, as long as I have time. However, I like people who want to interact, go out for a drink, hang out. I think I prefer hosting to surfing ... .

Interests

I enjoy reading, watching TV series, working with children, learning languages, travelling, planning, meeting new people. I quite like going out but I dont smoke and dont drink that much. I think Im just a little out of pracitice. I dont mind others drinking or smoking though, not sure if it's allowed in my apartment. Anyway, there are balconies and gardens all over the place.
And I love cooking! Teach me how to cook and I will love you forever!
