About Me

We have five senses. Why not use them all?

I love to travel and photography is my passion. I graduated with an art degree, concentrating in photography. My ultimate dream is to one day work with National Geographic Magazine!
I have both lived in or traveled to many countries such as Ghana, Iran, Turkey, U.A.E., Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, and America. I am interested in visiting more! I am always excited to learn about new cultures and people and try the best I can to immerse myself.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Mark Twain

Music, Movies, and Books

Once again, not to sound cliche, but I try and enjoy it all. In film, I love certain films from every genre. Notable directors are Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Coen brothers, Christopher Nolan, Andrei Tarkovsky, Alfred Hitchcock, etc. I even like stupid comedies like Anchorman and This is the End.

Music is even harder to pinpoint. I like everything from jazz, rock, flamenco, blues, reggaeton, bachata, salsa, merengue, progressive and post-rock, hip-hop, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped build a school in a small village in Ghana, while photographing the new friends I met and their culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is a passion of mine, whether it's learning the big picture about a country's history in an artistic or cultural perspective, current events, or even the minute details of a local's favorite market or dish, I hope to learn anything I can from anyone willing to share. In turn, I also love to socialize and share my experiences, and would be more than willing to offer my help and information.
