Music, Movies, and Books

Books: So many alt comics - Alison Bechdel, Ulli Lust... Kavalier and Clay, Breath by Tim Winton, Haroun and the Sea of Stories, Cat's Cradle, She (Saul Williams-poetry). I love reading in general and there is an ever-growing stack of books next to my bed as I am always feeding my addiction to used bookstores and how they smell.
Music: Open to most things, but I love anything funky. The music video to Breakbot's Baby I'm Yours is one of my favorite things in the world. Tallest Man on Earth, The Shins, bluegrass, and I LOVE to dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lightening over Rio Napo in Ecuador.
Meteor showers on a backpacking trip in the cascade mountains.

And I am dying to see the Aurora!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning languages is such a passion for me! I speak bits and pieces of a slew of languages and could learn and appreciate the art of food in any language. I'm also welcome to any art project and will gladly craft with you, or paint or photograph or or sculpt or generally get dirty with some art supplies.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Greece, Indonesia, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua

Countries I’ve Lived In
