About Me
Hi all, I'm an Aussie chick who is on a massive adventure around the world trying to reinvent my professional career...bare with me! I was working in the resource industry for 12 years but wasn't satisfied so I got my therapeutic massage qualification in Australia before heading off to persue further studies abroad. I've started my Thai massage training, am heading to India to do a Yoga Teacher Training course and will also be completing my CELTA (English teaching) course early next year. I intend on travelling through Asia, Canada, USA and the Americas but at the moment will be staying around Asia for the next year to further my knowledge and soak up these beautiful countries :)
I regularly go to yoga, the gym, meditate, cook, get lost on my motorbike, look for new places to eat and hang out, love listening to great tunes and having a laugh with my friends. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy and love to contribute to any household I'm apart of.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment I am staying in Thailand and bouncing back and forth between countries as I complete courses so am looking to meet locals in Chiang Mai by staying with them and getting to know the lay of the land. I will eventually find my own place here once I secure a job next year but in the meantime would like to live and stay in places where it may be possible to cook, meet some interesting local people and chill out. I am very easy going, open hearted and genuine so looking for like minded people to share space with which shouldn't be hard :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of music from 80's/90's classics to the latest house, funk and indie bands from all over the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most adventurous thing I've done is do a gorge swing jump off the Victoria bridge falls in Zambia, 110m free fall with my friend...it was crazy!!
One other amazing thing I've done (i know this is 2 things) is go on this trip to which is going to change my life forever :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am great at giving massages, in fact I love doing it hence why all the training and travel to learn as much as I can. Same with yoga so I love to learn and share both of those practices.
I'm very good with computers, business processes and helping people get organised in those arenas..I'll soon be an English teacher too so love to be learning and teaching at the same time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook yummy food and help out in the kitchen whenever needed, or do the shopping if necessary if you don't have time. Anything you need help with around the house I am good with my hands, walking dogs, doing washing etc.. I actually find cleaning therapeutic and keeping the place looking nice and fresh makes the energy in a house more positive for everyone.
I have a daily practice of yoga and would be happy to offer some massage services so I can keep working on my newly acquired Thai massage skills if you have the space.
I also am very aware of people's space and personal boundaries and am a very open communicator so there's no problems chatting or talking with me about anything. I'm open-minded and empathetic to everyone's needs!
