About Me

My husband and I are always up for a new adventure and new experiences, especially when it includes checking things off in our bucket list. We’re passionate about travelling, eating, drinking wine, hiking, and enjoying where we’re at. At home we are neat and tidy and my husband loves to cook.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet other like minded people. People who are open to new experiences and new cultures, people who crave adventure rather than stability. People who prefer to love and laugh and live their lives with purpose while also appreciating the present moment. I have met some of my very best friends through couch surfing because they've inspired me to live my life in a more meaningful way. I can only hope to try and share some of the same positive energy that was shown to me.

Activities:
Scavenger hunts, festivals, book clubs, beer, hiking, surfing, hosting, eating, speaking, loving and sharing.

I'm learning how to cook Korean food and vegan food. If you could teach me some recipes I'd love to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be rather quiet at times but if we can get a good conversation going I love sharing travelling experiences, learning about how you grew up, the languages you can speak, comparing philosophies on life and future goals. I like to laugh and be playful. I would be honoured if you joined me in some sightseeing, hiking or showing me your favourite restaurants, but I also understand if you have to work. I am not very "plugged in", especially while travelling. So please don't be offended if I am not on top of my phone/computer while we are apart.

I am a very neat and tidy person so you won't have to be afraid that I'll make a mess. I will be respectful of your house rules. Unfortunately I don't cook very much but I am always willing to buy plenty of wine and do the dishes. Otherwise I like to eat out while I'm travelling.
