Thank you for reading my profile.

I am moving to Tucson after finishing the Peace Corps to start grad school! I'm very excited about the change but also readjusting to living in the USA.

I'm on couch surfing because I enjoy AirBnB, but I know this is a different community that I want to be a part.

When I am settled, I hope to host people at my own home.

I have hosted a few couch surfers and it has been fun. It's important to share your life and your resources with different people.

That's why I'm on couch surfers!

兴趣

I am a singer, performer, blogger, designer, cat-lover, eater of peanut butter and cheese, the right beer, the perfect latte, and stimulating conversation about "why we are all here!"

I'm a museum, restaurant, cafe, indoor girl, much more so than a hiker or an outdoor lady. I like the great indoors (which is probably also why I am so pale!)

音乐、电影和书籍

My favorite music- that is a tough one because I like ALL types of music except country and LOVE lots of music (except country, which I still despise)...

I love a good pop song, swing and jazz, and rap, but my MOST favorite type of music is Broadway and ShowTunes. It's okay, I know most people don't like it, and I won't sing musicals around the house when I wake up in the morning...

Movies- I am more of a TV series gal, but I like a good flick from time to time. I'll watch anything with Steve Carell, Kate Winslet, Leo, Judi Dench, you know- the really talented actors. I suppose I like dramas and comedies.

I did stand-up comedy (twice!) and really loved it both times. Now it's off my bucket list. :)

I sing. I love children, and I think we always learn from their honesty, candor and earnest personalities.

I speak Spanish and learned the Mayan language K'iche' but can only say some things :)

I have a background in interior design, so I can give you suggestions on your place if you want :)

I can walk you through designing your own photo memory books online. I've designed several and really love doing that.

I've traveled in Europe quite a bit, so I'm happy to talk about any of those experiences.
