I traipse around the world laughing and singing in my heart. Disney is the soundtrack of my life! ;)

On a more serious note, over the last couple of years I've learned that the world is really much bigger than my tiny life, and people are much less scary than the media (and my parents) sometimes make them out to be. A community like Couchsurfing has taught me that (:

Whenever I travel I try to find CS hosts, but when I'm here in Singapore and am available I try to host visitors too! :)

Unfortunately, I've moved back home after staying in a university hostel for 4 years, and am unable to host anyone now ): Looking forward to the day where I have my own apartment!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First couchsurfed in Edinburgh in summer 2013 and had a lovely experience (even though it involved being shocked by a pet rat! :P). That was my first time, and now I'm looking forward to more surfing/hosting experience as time goes by.

Interests

Well, I'm currently studying Sociology in university, so PEOPLE are naturally my interest. I love learning about how people behave, and what makes them who they are.

Writing is another of my loves. I dabble around with poetry quite a bit, as well as keep up a personal blog-- writing is the best kind of catharsis!

Finally, music is something I've grown attached to, especially in the last couple of years. Nothing makes a bad day good like jamming on the guitar and playing my favourite tunes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a whole array of genres, from pop to alternative rock to indie to Broadway. Currently, I'm in an acoustic phase, probably because those are easiest to jam to. I'd say my all-time favourites are Broadway musicals and Disney songs because they make everything good and magical, even if just for a while (:

A good fiction book will always be welcome! I like complex characters who portray all the messy, irrational, beautiful emotions that constitute human nature and life in general.
I've also recently picked up crime fiction & psychological thrillers. LOVE the suspense!
