ABOUT ME

I love multi-culturalism. When I was in school, my parents would always take in and encourage communication with various guest students from France, Spain, Canada and Australia. I learned that even if you don't speak each others language, there are still ways to communicate, have fun together, and maybe learn one word/phrase or the other (we all know which ones would've been of the greatest interest at that age ;) ). I have always loved travelling and going on adventures with friends such as spontaneously hitch-hiking to the next lake to have beers around a campfire or going for a not quite legal nocturnal swim in the open air pool. After school, I worked to save up some money and went on a working holiday in Australia for two awesome years. Back in Germany, it soon became clear that I wasn't gonna stay forever. I did an apprenticeship, saved up whatever I could and am now excited to get back out there again and see where my journey takes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling, I like to learn about the locals' way of life. There are a lot of kind, interesting people out there and this is a great way to meet them!

Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, Sky diving 14,000ft, Bungy jumping 134m, Climbing an active volcano in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise from its top, Snorkelling with manta rays/whale sharks/dolphins/sea turtles in the open sea, Going on a helicopter flight to go for a hike on a glacier, ...
