ABOUT ME

I am a Russian with a Mediterranean soul, living in London! And I am addicted to traveling! Unfortunately, (or actually fortunatly) students like me cannot afford to stay in expensive hotels. This gives an extraordinary opportunity to meet local people and get exposed to the different culture and customs of the country and its people. Traveling alone can be challenging but I absolutely love challanges and beign out of my comfort zone! As they say out of your comfort zone is where all the magic happens!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have Surfed in Brazil, USA, England and Greece - had the time of my life!! I have also hosted people in London. At the moment, I am travelling so I am not able to host people...but hope to host people again as soon as it's possible.

兴趣

I am interested in discovering new things every single day (I enjoy talking/debating about history, politics, economics and the arts) I am very curious in my nature but the more I get to know, the more I feel I don´t know. There is always more to find out!

I can enjoy different genres of film, books and music depending on my mood. Open to anything new and interesting really! But strongly against very mainstream "chewing gum" types of movies.

Taught 500 kids in Lima, Peru. Sunbathed on the white sand of Cancun, Mexico. Saw the Royal Wedding in London, UK. Rode the friendliest Elephant in Krabi, Thailand. Climbed the Great Chinese Wall. Handing over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dived with 4 sharks, a turtle and a stingray on Phi Phi Island, Thailand. Saw the 2012 Olympic Torch pass in front of my office, London UK.

I enjoy meeting people who hold opposing views to my own. This way I feel I get to heard "the other side of the story", which often changes my perception and I am grateful for that.
