ABOUT ME

We are two totally different people -- one American (Natan, on the left above), and the other Dutch (Chanan, on the right), and that's just the beginning -- who have nonetheless decided to come together and celebrate life as best we can. We love Judaism, Israel, travel, Harry Potter, Paul de Leeuw, Vancouver, Utrecht, New York City, Sex and the City, Will & Grace, and Margaret Atwood. Family is very important in our lives even when they drive us insane.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are interested in helping to build global community. Not everything in this world needs to be about money!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

C lived on a couch in Meah Shearim (Ultra-Orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem) for 6 months and was overwhelmed by the hospitality

N lived on couches in Washington DC for 2 months and felt embraced by community. Recently had an amazing CS experience in Buffalo, NY, with a guy who ended up being the brother-in-law of one of his good friends (total coincidence).

We have both enjoyed friends crashing on our couches whenever they were traveling, transitioning, or just in need of a couch
