CURRENT MISSION
To connect with other CSers for lodging and new experiences
ABOUT ME
I'm an engaging, warm San Franciscan who's always game for meeting new people and experiencing new things, which I suppose is why I'm on this site. The ones who know me best would say I'm compassionate, mature, and generous, with a penchant for silliness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet people, why else? Oh yea and a place to sleep is always nice.
Interests
I like to think I bridge the gap between a city girl and an outdoor adventurer. My trips usually fall into the latter with my ideal vacations involving some elements of camping, scuba-diving, and hiking. I've recently completed my Masters and am gearing up for a 6 month round-the-world trip with my partner for a much-needed break before reentering the hectic pace of the workplace. I love biking all around San Francisco, cooking dinner, and playing guitar. When I happen to have a day off I love syncing up with friends to grab a bite or lounge in the park, dancing to salsa or a good DJ set, perusing good movies/TV on Netflix or HBO, and reading a good book. If I manage to get away for longer it's usually a camping excursion in the bay area or the occasional festival: Burning Man, Symbiosis, and Lightning in a Bottle are faves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the ruins of Petra in Jordan was a magical experience, albeit one that led me to pull out my back and discover the profound kindness of strangers.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a great listener and always willing to lend an empathetic ear. Can't say I have phenomenal skills to share but I'm willing to pitch in where help is needed and I'm a decent cook..I hope. Learning is a lifelong endeavor. My favorite knowledge is learning about people --their culture, their language, and their stories.
