Overview
About Me
I moved to Sweden on 2014. I'm currently having my master degree on journalism. I have both Turkish and Brazillian citizenship (a mind blowing culture mix).
I'm very interested in creating maps. That's why whenever I have a free time I do one. I firmly believe (online) mapping can bring a different perspective to things happening around us. It's also an amazing way to create awareness. My last project is on mapping the media coverages of murdered women in Turkey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe meeting with people who has more local knowledge is a very nice opportunity. Furthermore, it's fun.
Interests
Well, I already said I love creating maps.
I love to have a walk in nature, I love the morning coffees, I really dislike reading bad news in the morning (but I have to), I love petting an animal, I really like trying to guess the types of birds I see, I like to talk about things that politically matter ...

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy classic jazz and contemporary classical music a lot (have you listened ludovico einaudi?).
It's of course hard to talk about "favorite books and movies". But I very much like 50's musical films, cult movies, I really dislike horror movies but I very frequently watch documentaries.
I can easily, without hesitating say that my favorite book is Don Quixote. I should also add most of Jules Verne books : )
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking in Brazil for a month.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a lovely cup of coffee and nice, warm chat. I would also consider my self very lucky to hear their experiences, thoughts, dreams...
