Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and being hosted for free is just amazing but it's not just that: it's meeting people from different parts around the globe and sharing experiences what I'm up for.
I'm new here at CS but I have been a couchsurfer and host since 1999. When somebody comes to stay at my place, I love to show around, go dinner, drink tea or coffee and visit the points of interests but specially the unique and hidden spots in the City.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am passionately attached to Electronica (but not commercial, I mean the real good stuff) and I am particularly up for the styles IDM, Chill-Out, Trip Hop, Chill-Wave & Downtempo.
Specially the productions of the following artists:
Autechre, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Com Truise, Chet Faker, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Lusine, Moby, Tycho.

I also love Alternative, Indie, House, Lounge, Electro-Lounge, Jazz, Jazz-Rock, Grunge, Pop rock, Classical, and so on...

If there would be a prize for a movie/TV series watcher I would definetely win it!
The list of my favourites is too long, here is only a pic:
Her, American Hustle, The Big Lebowski, Interestellar, Matrix, Tron, Gran Torino,
Blade Runner, Jackie Brown, Skyfall, 2001 A space Odyssey, Dracula,
The Aviator, Cloud Atlas, Revolutionary Road, Drive, The curious case of Benjamin Button, O Brother, where art thou?, Pirates of the Caribbean,
Fear and Loathing in las Vegas, Slumdog Millionaire, Big Fish, Midnight in Paris,
Alice in Wonderland.
I like anything but horror, except for the following: Silent Hill, The Shining, Carrie, 6th sense, etc.

The list of TV series is really endless but I would say that my 5 favourites are:
Sherlock, White Collar, Fringe, The Tudors & Downton Abbey.

I love reading books, specially about philosophy and self-help and also mystery novels. Currently I am reading 'Dissertations on the chapters "Hoben" & "Juryo" of the Lotus Sutra' by Daisaku Ikeda and "Passenger to Frankfurt" by Agatha Christie.
