Hi there! I consider myself a citizen of the world, but technically speaking, I'm a dual citizen of the US and UK. Back in the states, I worked for a nonprofit that designs parks for under-privileged urban communities. Here in the UK, I'm studying food forests and sustainable design.

I'm a vegetarian/semi-vegan who enjoys meditation, modern art, and mountain air. I like to balance my travels out with a healthy mix of wilderness and urban exploration.

I have a degree in landscape architecture with a minor in environmental ethics. I have an interest in edible forests, permaculture, sustainability, philosophy, transportation policy, and landscape archaeology (ask me about the planned landscapes of early medieval England if you really want to party!)

I was a radio host (DJ) at university. People are always telling me I have a face for radio!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I feel the best way to immerse yourself into a community and see how humans interact together as a system is to experience it first hand rather than peeking through as a bystander. There's a disconnect when you stay in hotels/hostels which is why couch surfing is such a beautiful concept.

'18 - Hitchhiked across Czechia, watched Germany's only win of the world cup at Brandenburg Tor, unfortunately did not watch it "come home" in London
'17 - Visited the Church of Our Savior in Copenhagen and climbed the outside of the spire to the top
'16 - Slept under mesquite trees on a ranch in Texas
'15 - Visited the real Parthenon in Athens, Greece and the fake Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee
'14 - Hiked Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the British Isles and Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales
'14 - Had my glasses stolen on an overnight ferry to Morocco, but my eyesight is terrible so apparently they weren't of any use as they were turned in the next day!
