Overview
About Me
Just defended my PhD and I'd be happy to chat about what I spent the last five years studying in climate science. I love to bake and cook and that's one of the ways I channel my creativity! I enjoy spending times outdoors and love to go hiking, backpacking, and camping. I can spend a whole day exploring a new area, love going to trivia nights, playing volleyball, and trying new foods. I am vegan and aim to live a low-waste lifestyle!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I completed an amazing road trip throughout the Northeastern part of the US and several cities in Canada while I was moving from DC to Michigan. I joined Couchsurfing because it was outside of my comfort zone and the road trip was the perfect opportunity to try new things. The people I met and cultures I interacted with were nothing but amazing and thrilling. I met the most down-to-earth folks who opened their homes to me and I am forever grateful for those memories. Now, my time is up in Michigan and I'm back to travel around Europe to celebrate finishing my PhD!

My favorite genres of music include modern pop, modern country. and bubblegum oldies but will also switch over to some indie/folklore when the mood is right or go down a musical binge.
I love trashy reality TV shows like Selling Sunset.
I enjoy reading books in subjects ranging from young adult fiction to females in STEM and empowerment.
