About Me

✋Hello there traveller!✋

My name is Natasha and I started using CouchSurfing during my Gap Year in 2018. I absolutely loved it, and experienced many different unique things.

Now I want to give back and host some travellers who are passing by the beautiful Brisbane area in Australia. I can offer a private room with a comfortable bed, and shared bathroom. There is a little kitchenette too so we can cook and eat together. I will be accepting ladies or partners as I live alone.

More about me:
I am always enthusiastic, excited and curious...growing up in many places, I have a passion for learning different cultures and languages. I study Ecology and work as an Ecologist in the renewable energy sector. I’m not always home as I’m off on field work looking for koalas in the bush 🐨, so please understand if I cannot host you due to unavailability.

☞Please read my profile before you think about sending me a request! I would love a personalised message from you entailing how long you will be here, what you are thinking of doing and let me help you plan the best South-east Queensland itinerary ! I will definitely read all requests!☜

🍀Other than that, hope to see you soon!🍀
Kindest Regards, Tash

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was voted as a President for a charity club at my school in Australia called Leo's Club and then led the club to do many great things, one of my favourite activities being a Sleep out + Movie night where we raised over $550 for Domestic Violence.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach! I can share some tips for filmmaking, photography (these are my passions), but I can teach you some Malay if you are wanting to go to Asia soon! Maybe we can talk about science, cultures, koalas?

Learn! I love knowing where you have been and what you've done! Sharing means we can all explore different parts of the world instead of the cliché destinations like (i.e. Paris: Eiffel Tower) Like have you found a secret cave in Mallorca with beautiful crystal clear water! Or have you found the best cafe in Vienna? Maybe a secret hidden nuclear bunker in the mountains of Vietnam? (I know where one is...)

Share
Salsa, bachata dancing - let's go dance!
Music festivals, events and festivals in the city
Long walks around the Brisbane area
Art, dance, culture, interpretation
Food, vegetarian/vegan, food trucks, pizza? hahah
Science museums, physics, biology, cognition

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happiness, a lot of smiles and warm and friendly conversations! I can offer you a few portraits or photos for your blog/social media/website with my camera! Also a gift my partner and I would like to leave for hosts is always a dinner. I LOVE cooking and hope to cook you a dinner in exchange for your hosting! We are both vegetarian/vegan, so maybe you can try something different. :)
