About Me
Why hello there,
I'm Natasha. I've just moved back to N.I for a while after having lived in France and England for a few years. I'm taking a break in my degree in languages and literature (I was in final year in England) and I plan to do some travelling!
I currently volunteer in the French and English departments of a local school, tutor and write when the fancy takes me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was living in France I was very fortunate to meet and live with some lovely people who I went on adventures with and who helped me discover their country. The experience has shown me how much fun it is to get to know a place and particularly the people living there.
I really enjoy travelling, discovering new places and cultures and meeting new people.
At the moment I'm back at home living with my parents in a remote area so I'm probably not the ideal host. (That said, if you're a fan of cows and appreciate a good cup of tea and a detailed analysis of the weather, then you're very welcome!) I hope to be able to return the favour to people when I'm in my own place again.
Interests
I enjoy listening to music, going to gigs, reading, writing, meeting new people, exploring the countryside, visiting new places, dancing (madly and badly), going to the theatre, film...

Music, Movies, and Books
There are way too many....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've seen the Northern Lights and snow-mobiled to the top the Yllas fells in Finland in -30C.
- I spent four days hiking in the calanques in Marseille with friends and sleeping under the stars each night. The third night there was a spectacular thunder and lightning storm - we got a bit wet...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Craic, conversation and good company :) I also have a few stories from my travels...
I'm happy to share whatever there is rattling around in my head on literature, music, film, travel and life! I have very diverse tastes and like music, literature and film from lots of different countries. I know a few good recipes too; lemon and almond cake, daal and my take on an Indian chicken curry are the specialties!
I speak French and a bit of Spanish.
I write poetry, so if that floats your boat I can always recite a poem or two.
