About Me
Hi! I'm from Lebanon, I'm married to the love of my life, and I'm currently trying to figure what I want to dive into next. Past few years have been one huge rollercoaster, and I have yet to find stability. Before that I owned 2 fashion related businesses, and worked in wardrobe. But I completely lost interest (I guess age changes you), and I'm excited for what comes next. Meanwhile I'm exploring, and enjoying it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently on couch surfing to experience the sense of community it brings to traveling. There is nothing that compares to staying with a local, hearing their stories and tips, sharing experiences...I love exploring countries from homes rather than from hotels.
I only couch surfed once, a few years back with my partner, and it was the highlight of our 1 month Californian road trip. We stayed at the most amazing couple's house and connected so deeply, we made friends for life. This made me realize how much CS helps with meeting awesome people from all over the world.
CS also enables me to explore more of a country because it makes it budget friendly. Rather than having to limit my trips to a few day, I can wander longer and dive more deeply into the culture...until reality kicks in, and the vacation is a over, haha.
Interests
Currently in a "unlearning what I have learned" phase.
So I'm discovering new interests.
At the moment I pickup up tap dancing, and I'm loving it. I've always loved camping, and amateurly playing the guitar and singing. I love snowboarding, I love new experiences and feelings. I love the process of learning something. I love beautiful views. I love the moment something clicks. I love conversations, specially unexpected ones. I do not love making a list of what I love, but I love making lists, and crossing them off...
Okay went off topic, I love having a conversation about my passions, so ask if you like, and I'll tell you more about my interests.
- tap dancing
- cooking
- traveling
- music
- camping
- snowboarding
- learning new skills
- intense conversations
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Pink Floyd. It seems to be the only constant favorite of mine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1 Month in thailand...where do I start..
And that night we snowboarded during a storm on a car road from the slopes to the village...
And sky diving with my boyfriend (edit: now husband)..
It's hard to just pick 1.
