One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on my first solo backpacking trip in Vermont with a raggedy leather backpack and tote bag. I was obviously not prepared and slept in my hammock with a thin airplane blanket in 40 degree weather. Didn't have a ride planned to get to my hosts apartment but I met this great guy hiking down the mountain and he gave me a ride. That trip was full of uncertainties, but was the first time I learned to truly love myself
