ME
In a nutshell, I am a 24 year old free spirited gal who loves music, strangers, learning, and teaching.
However, if you take a deeper look I'm a wild woman on the loose! I've reached a point in life where I'm really really tired of sitting around waiting for things to happen!! So I'm off! Since I was 19 I've wanted to drive cross country writing music everywhere I go. Now here I am 24 years old living in Maryland doing the same thing over and over every day. I've packed my bags and decided Its time to hit the road!
I graduated from a university in western PA back in December 2012. Now I'm enrolled online at Berklee College of Music getting my MBA in Music Business! I really enjoy being in school it keeps me organized.
I love meeting new people, I love hearing new stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch-surfing because I need help. I don't just mean help like a couch to sleep on (although that's important :) ) I need help seeing life from different points of view.
I ask a LOT of "how do you feel about" type questions so I definitely want hosts who are comfortable talking to their guest. I wanna hear life story's, life lessons, goals! I'm looking for hosts that have just as much interest in learning about people as I do!
Interests
My number one interest is music! I started writing music when I was 7 years old as an escape from reality. My dream job is to be that person who writes all the songs for the people you hear on the radio!!
I also like telling stories. I'm an avid writer, which is actually part of the reason I'm on this trip! Life is like a movie so why not write it down!
I really have an obsession with cooking. I love that show Chopped where you have random ingredients and you make a meal, yeah, that's me in the kitchen. I'll definitely respect your kitchen and won't go crazy in there, but if a host is a foodie like me let's cook! I love clean eating!
Oh I can't forget about my love for the gym! I workout 3 or 4 days a week. Mostly weight training. Not competing or anything just like being fit. There's nothing like a good workout buddy so I'm definitely open to some spotter hosts!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music would probably be Neo Soul. Being a songwriter though, I really love all genres. It's my goal to able to write in every genre. So far I've mastered HIP HOP, RNB, Country, EDM, Jazz, Pop, Neo Soul, and I think a few more but I don't know.
My favorite movies include: Crash, The Butterfly Affect, The Wiz, City of God, and Finding Nemo! I'm more or less the same with movies as far as open to anything. I'm not too into sci fi but I'll watch anything for at least 15 minuets to see if it can hold my attention!
As much as I like to write I'm not the biggest reader these days. I've tried to find something that will have me in a page turning frenzy but no luck. If anyone has suggestions I'm open to reading at least 15 pages to see if it can hold my attention :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This, what I'm doing right now, will the most amazing thing I've done since 1991! Therefore, I thank in advance all of you that will host me in these next few months.
Aside from that, once I carried a baby wolf from the woods to my aunts house thinking it was just a stranded puppy :/
Teach, Learn, Share
"Learn before you teach and always practice what you preach!"
I hope to teach positivity and maybe teach someone to express their feelings through song!
I hope to learn as much as possible on this trip through the perceptions of others. Teach me to cook, teach me about your heritage, your religion, your definition of happiness. My mind is wide open so please share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With you I share my stories, my beliefs, my ideas, my goals, my happiness!
I can teach hosts to write a song. I can just really be a cool guest in your home!
