Resumen
Sobre mí
I am currently studying Marine Biology at the University of Queensland in Brisbane but have spent my life moving from place-to-place, and as a result I've got the travel bug bad!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
After being told about couchsurfing by a friend, I couldn't believe I'd never heard of it before! It's such an incredible concept and shows how many amazing people there are out there, who are willing to open their homes to complete strangers. Due to the fact that my parents live on the other side of the world from me, I travel overseas on my own frequently, with as many stops as possible on the way and this site would be a fantastic way to meet new people and get to see all the local hotspots which an ignorant tourist like myself might walk straight by.
Intereses
Pretty much anything to do with the water or that gets me outdoors;
Diving
Kiteboarding
Wakeboarding
Swimming
Sailing
Hiking
Skiing (Snow)
Exploring new places
But I'm also quite happy to relax with a book or play cards or board games etc.

Música, películas y libros
I couldn't pick a single favourite for any of these!
My favourite song at the moment is probably 'Take me to church' by Hozier, and my favourite artists include Passenger, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, Jake Bugg and Adele, but I'll listen to virtually anything.
My favourite movies change with my mood, I'll watch almost anythings besides horror.
I could fill a library with the books I love but some of my favourites would be Children of the New Forest (loved it as a child), all of Enid Blighton's book (Mallory Towers is the reason I begged to go to boarding school), Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Game of Thrones, all of Khaled Hosseini's books, and recently I've been reading a lot of Philippa Gregory's books.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I travelled to Phuket on my own to do my divemaster course, having never been before, and spent the most amazing month exploring, meeting incredible new people and diving almost every day.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Anything you want to know that I can teach, I'm more than happy to do so. And if I don't know, we can try and find out together!
I'm an eager learner, once you've got my interest with something I always want to know more. If you're able to help me out, I'd love to learn new languages and about different cultures.
I'll share anything that I can! It's all about give and take.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Stories are a great way to begin.
I'm also a willing worker and always happy to help out. My cooking skills aren't awful but I'm a much better baker. I love animals, kids and the outdoors so if you want any help in those areas I won't hesitate to lend a hand.
If it's something I've never done before, thats even more exciting, I'd love to learn!
