About Me
I'm a generally carefree and loving individual who wants to share and see as much of the world as I can! I believe that good energy is matched by good energy and that the best way to create good energy is to be a source of it. I love working in the restaurant industry because I get to meet lots of very interesting people and learn about food, drink, people, and the world. Until August in 2015, I was doing a double undergraduate degree at York University for English and Creative Writing. Now, I'm working on my TEFL certificate so I can travel the world teaching English as I go! I'm planning a year-long trip to south-east Asia in August to teach and volunteer and I'm so excited! I've been working at two jobs to save money as best I can while still trying to see my loved ones and experience as much of Toronto as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used couch-surfer for the first last summer while travelling across Canada and had nothing but amazing experiences. I absolutely love how personal it feels to stay with someone in their home because you get a much deeper sense of the place you're staying in and you get to meet amazingly generous and interesting people! I like to talk to my hosts about the place they live in exchange for stories about my own travels/home so everyone comes away a little bit kinder, a little bit wiser.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled around South East Asia by myself for 3 months last year. I didn't stay with any couchsurfers but I wish that I had! I was nervous to be travelling alone but every interaction I had with local people helped me realise how wonderful the world really is and the people in it even more so. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a poet and I love to write gifts for people! In exchange for letting me stay with you, I would love to write something for you!
I'm also a pretty good cook. I'd be more than happy to cook a meal(s) for you and share a bottle of wine or a couple of drinks (I know how to make some killer cocktails) and spend an evening swapping stories. :)
