ABOUT ME

I'm 23 and currently wandering around Europe. I love exploring new places and experiencing new things. I love the outdoors and getting a bit messy, I love the beach and miss it a lot being in Manchester. I love art,film,theatre, literature,music and most creative outlets and love surrounding myself with people who have the same passion. I'm learning guitar and harmonica at the minute in order to establish my one-man band.
I love cycling more than anything so would love to visit new places and explore on a bike.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted one surfer, for one night and it was a great experience. We stayed out in Manchester all night and chatted for hours and had a right laugh, loved it.

I've then stayed with three hosts in Madrid, Raul, Nev and Jorge, all wonderful and different experiences.

Intereses

I love art and literature, especially sketching. I love to cycle and hope to cycle the world one day. I love the smell of incense and candles. I like trying different ales and being around people who make me laugh. I love live music and exploring unusual places that capture the essence of a place, such as art squats and book stores.

Música, películas y libros

I love a good documentary and The Blue Planet is my go to when i'm ill, the soothing voice of David Attenborough could cure any sickness.

My favourite author is William Burroughs and The Naked Lunch is the best book I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Although I'm reading The Picture of Dorian Gray at the minute and Oscar Wilde's language is beautiful.

I love Manchester's music scene and going to gigs and finding new hidden gems but I'm a big fan of the classics, Pink Floyd and Jefferson Airplane and 60's psyche. Since travelling I've become a huge fan of most street music, it makes wandering around cities very romantic.

I volunteered in Nigeria for three months and the whole experience was pretty amazing. Doing the Hokey Cokey with 100 school children was possibly one of my best experiences, it was hilarious, mostly there was just a heap of kids in the middle.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I would love to learn many different languages, I'm trying to focus on Spanish as I spent two months there recently, but need some help practicing.
I love to cook, especially sweets, just to feed people as I don't have much of a sweet tooth.
I like the idea of making collective art so if anybody fancies creating something together that would be cool.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I love chatting to people and sharing experiences, I'm very open minded and would happily cook a meal and chat over a few beers or a bottle of wine.
