Overview
About Me
I'm a Geography student with a passion for new experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
As cliche as it sounds, travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. Seeing and exploring new places is definitely a big part of this, but for me making new friends and sharing experiences with them is why I love to travel so much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I am currently travelling I will mostly be participating by surfing, but when I return I am looking forward to hosting travelers to return the favour and show them around my home town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been active in the couchsurfing community for a while now, but have still only managed to couchsurf once. When I next go travelling I hope to change this and meet some lovely likeminded people!
Interests
I play real life Quidditch for my University's home team, Southampton. Yes, it's a sport, and yes, it's sort of ridiculous but also very competitive and really great fun. I am also passionate about video blogging, and have been sharing my travel and life adventures with others on the internet for years now. I have made so many friends from all over the globe from it, and it's my favourite way to document my experiences.
I'm also a member of scouting and guiding and have been for most of my life, and love spending time camping and exploring the outdoors. After I finish my degree I'd love to teach English abroad and combine two of my biggest passions, teaching and travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading crime thrillers and young adult fiction, and am a big TV fanatic. My favourite shows are probably Firefly, House M.D., Sherlock, Buffy, Veronica Mars and Doctor Who. I love Indie and alternative music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best experiences I've had so far was visiting Reykjavik, Iceland in 2011. I swam in the blue lagoon, walked behind beautiful waterfalls, saw volcanic springs erupt, and went whale spotting where I saw blue whales. To date it's still my favourite place I've visited and I'd love to return some day and maybe see the Northern Lights, which is something I missed out on whilst there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love baking, and am always happy to share my knowledge because let's face it- baking is not only fun but at the end of it you get something great to eat! I also speak French relatively well, and am always looking for opportunities to practice speaking it.
