Overview
About Me
I love my city and I'd love to help the non locals to explore the best places in Rio de Janeiro.
Also, I wanna start traveling by myself and I guess it could be really nice to use some help of the people who already live in the city. I love to learn new cultures, new languages and having new experiences. The best moment to do this is during a vacation and in a place you are just exploring.
I have a College Degree in Social Communications at UFRJ and work at Globosat for over 4 years.
I've made my Couchsurfing profile years ago when I heard about it, but never got the chance to use it. I'm going to South Africa (Cape Town and Johannesburg) next year to study English and I think couchsurfing can help me connect with locals and find all the best spots to drink, eat and visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This platform is amazing to connect with people who possibly have a very different life from you. Considering that each country has it's own specificity, it's really nice to have a way of meeting people who can share experiences with you that you wouldn't have the opportunity to learn about by just doing regular tourism.
I've never traveled abroad before and since I'm doing it for the first time next year I think the platform will help me in this situation and in many other trips I'm already planning to do. Also, I think that hosting travelers at my place could be a nice way of practicing my english and meeting new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an amazing cooker so I can teach a traditional dish from Brazil (like feijoada, farofa or brigadeiro) and give you some tips about my country as well, if you are visiting it. Also, I love to talk about the peculiarities of my country (the culture, the people, the traditions, politics, etc) and I'd love to learn about your country as well.
