About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel around the world! (That will stay my "current mission" for a while I think)

ABOUT ME

All about me? That's a tough one :)
Read what I wrote under "Interests", that should give you some idea :D

PHILOSOPHY

Sine musica nulla vita.

I think I should get that tattooed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't host at the moment, since I won't be at home for the next couple of months, but in general, other than hosting, I like to show people around, I try to make their visit to my little town as interesting as possible :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been a year now since I first started using CS, and I have to say that I'm loving it!
I was a surfer, I was a host, and it's a wonderful and unique experience!

Interests

Oh, the list is long.
Travelling (how unexpected:)), CATS!, music, lots and lots of music, reading, learning languages, dancing, rollerblading, food and wine tasting, spending time in nature, partying with friends, walking, and so on and so on :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Hmm... those who leave you thinking about them for a long long while after you've seen them. The last one to do it was "El secreto de sus ojos". I love movies with good photography too, like Amélie Poulain, Poulet aux prunes...
I'm a sucker for cinéma français! I also love all Tornatore's movies, as well as "il cinema neorealista italiano" and its poignant stories.
And I simply adore British humour!

Music: nearly everything! It may sound funny, but it depends on the season :D in winter (my least favourite season) my main "stars" are Sade, Chet Baker, Damien Rice, Coldplay (the old albums not that crappy new stuff), Norah Jones, Morricone, etc. In spring, I listen to brit-pop, soft rock and rnb mostly. Oh, and the music of the '80s. Stuff to dance to.
SUMMERTIME! Jazz&Bossanova time! Everything that puts a smile on my face and sounds like summer! From Feist, Kings Of Convenience, Jazzamor, to jazz&bossa classics.
And, to conclude - autumn: David Sylvian, David Gray, and all kinds of slightly melancholic songs:)

Books. My first love! Since I started reading at the age of 4, and I studied French and Italian litterature, the list is way too long for this space. Ask me if you reeeally wanna know:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ask me again when I'm 80 :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Serbian, French, Italian, English, the bases of salsa, and that would be it :D

I'd like to learn your language, and every dance you know!:)
I'm also interested in your local and national history, so if you like to talk - I can listen for hours:D

Countries I’ve Visited
