To exchange with people from all over the world and explore new cultures and to encourage my daughter to becoming curious in life!

ABOUT ME

Hmm, where to start...I guess I am a pretty relaxed and laid back person, that enjoys most of all the company of other people, incl. family, old friends and making new ones. My favorite thing to do is travel and I do so many times a year both on pleasure and business. A few years ago my traveling brought me to Helsinki several times, Rome, NY, SF, Singapore, Bangkok, Cannes, Berlin, Sardinia, Stockholm, London and Paris. Introducing my 21-year old daughter to the wonders of exploring the world and being open to meeting people and being curios is something I enjoy a lot. We travelled for 6 months when she was five to the US, Fiji, NZ, OZ, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (classic route I guess:-).Being curious is something I LOVE and something that has brought me/us a lot of great experiences both while traveling and at home. Home is Copenhagen, but my father is American, so we have a lot of family and friends in the States mainly Chicago and California.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I feel I can add something to a persons experience of visiting Copenhagen, I would be happy to lend my couch to a fellow CS'er. Also happy to meet for a drink or go for a ride outside the city by bike or car and show some of my favorite places in town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My family and I have a pretty extensive network around the world, so when I go somewhere I do not know anyone I usually check with my dad to see, if he knows someone and often he does, so I can borrow their couch or spare room. I prefer this type of traveling to staying in hotels or hostels and this is why I am so happy I found this community!!

As mentioned travel, meeting people and socializing, reading, finding new and fun things to do & using all the cultural offers there are in the cities I visit incl. Copenhagen. Enjoying cooking and eating good food!!

So many good movies...don't even know where to start! Music...also lots...Jazz, Soul, R & B, Motown and more - lots of great books too. Have to come back to that.
