About Me

Hi Everyone,
My name is Natacha and I'd like to welcome you to my home.
I am a pretty easygoing host who thrives on meeting new people from all over the world.
I work as operations director at a local school, but also run a couple of auberges, one of which is equally my home.
I will be happy to host you as a couchsurfer if I don't have any bookings and you can stay for up to 3 nights. If you wish, you can also stay for longer, but on a "guest in a guest house" basis.
My room prices are between $20 - $50/person/night which is really competitive in the area. When you stay as a paying guest, I also ask for a small contribution for gas of $1/day if you wish to use the kitchen for cooking.

I'll do my best to meet all the couchsurfers but work and kids keep me very busy most of the time so if I am not there, don't worry, you will be welcomed by one of my members of staff who are there to help you.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Alice inspired me to be on couchsurfing by saying I could meet a lot of great people from various backgrounds and cultures.

I also know that a lot of couchsurfers are really adventurous and active people who thrive on experiencing and doing something meaningful.

I've had quite a few couchsurfers and guests who actually stayed for longer because they wanted to help and/or work at my school and orphanage so the experience really worked both ways.

Interests

Traveling is my biggest passion.
Other than that, I really love what I do, so my projects and work can be counted among my hobbies.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like romantic music and history books, and like watching cartoons with my kids.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My adoptive parents and I set-up an organisation which has been helping in Haiti for many years. After the earthquake, we received a Goldene Henne Award for our work in Haiti. I was one of the ambassadors at the ceremony.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to teach you Haitian Creole.
I'd like to learn some basic phrases in your language.
I'd like to share and show you what I do for the Haitian kids here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs and good times.
