Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go through phases...when I'm travelling and I want to meet people I log on and find people to meet up with or surf their couch. When I'm home and my life is lacking new languages, cultures and faces, I log on and and find a new friend. I have done a lot of language exchange, and can thank couch surfing for teaching me Spanish!!

Interests

A good road trip, seeking out sunshine, camping, nature - mountains, lakes, beaches and rivers, sport and exercise - hiking, netball and yoga particularly, making homemade cosmetics, vegetarian cooking, travel and languages, movies, history (although I'm no expert, I like to learn), dancing (same applies!!)...that's enough of a list

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy art house and foreign films the most, but I'm not opposed to a chick flick when I'm in the mood. I enjoy reading novels but don't have any particular favourites. Music...currently listening to a lot of Spanish flamenco, folk and classical.
