ABOUT ME

I am a social worker at a hospital here in Salt Lake City, UT. Nate works at a business growth company. I started a non-profit with my mom 6 years ago in Kenya focusing on education. I go once a year for about a month and work on it the rest of the year here in Utah! Nate and I met 80's dancing & recently got married. We love to travel together and meet so many cool people! Couch surfing is the perfect way to do this! Last year we traveled SE Asia & Africa. We are very easy going, responsible and clean. We travel with our sleeping bags & mats to be accommodating. We listen to great music, love camping, we are always laughing & joking around. Creating new friendships is what makes traveling so much fun!

PHILOSOPHY

It's always embarrassing when you are having a conversation in your head and you realize That you are making faces that go along with the silent conversation.

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

"You're never alone." A phrase that is cute to read in a love letter, but not when smeared onto a fogged bathroom mirror.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are excited to host people and show the best of Salt Lake City. Our home is yours! We have an old bungalow/cottage built in the late 1800's that is located a few blocks from downtown. We have 2 futons and a couch available, Internet & 2 awesome big dogs to greet you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new, but so far we have been treated very very well!

Interessi

traveling without plans, camping, taking our dogs to the park to swim, good music (80's, indie, Phil Collins), street food, the honey badger (they are badasses), rock climbing, rugby, American football, Vietnamese pho!, sleeping in, the band Journey, Arrested Development, not interested in commercials with talking babies or talking monkeys (they creep Nate out)
