I move more than I should. I know enough Italian to get in to trouble and am a self taught graphic designer. I like walking big circles around beautiful places on blue days. Can often be found painting. I like cooking and loathe writing 'about me' sections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed for a few months in 2009, loved it, made lots of friends (many of whom I still keep in touch with) and then again - sporadically - in 2011 with the same result. Either I'm insanely lucky or the world is a nicer place than CNN gives it credit for.

Interests

Ice cream, gelatto, sorbet, milkshakes, etc. Photojournalism, gardens, illustration, NASA, writing so good you have to look up and blink a few time before reading it again, unexpected profundity, airports, etc
