ABOUT US

We are young professionals who recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue new career goals. We love to meet new people, travel, and have a good time! When we are not vacationing, we work in consulting and Information Technology. Nate is from near Philadelphia originally, Maja is Bosnian, and also lived in Germany (speaks Serbo-Croatian, German, Russian, and English). We work hard, and play hard :)

We like to play soccer, go mountain biking, hiking, go to the ocean, and meet up with friends. Beer and wine are always welcome in our house :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love the concept of Couch Surfing! We were first introduced to CS during the presidential inauguration in 2009, when a father and son came all the way from California, with 2 days to plan their trip. Prices of hotels and private apartments were insanely expensive but they found friendly CS-ers who hosted them for free! Now that we've traveled and met other CS-ers, we don't ever want to stay at another hotel again! This is too much fun :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We finished our first trip as couch surfers in 2009 and have met so many amazing people! So far our Couchsurfing adventures have taken Paris, Nice, San Juan, and Berlin and we can't wait for our next trip :)
