ABOUT ME

Somos viajeros, un musico, una traductora, y estudiantes (de todo). Ultimamente hemos estado viviendo en España donde Nathan ha tenido la suerte de poder aprender el español. Estamos en un tipo de año sabático - la mayoría de los proyectos (musicales) de Nathan son afuera (ni en Canada ni en España) y Candyce está haciendo traducciones de textos y viviendo su sueño de siempre (vivir en un país hispanohablante). Nos gusta verduras, bicis, chocolate, tapas, amigos, musica, ...

We´ve spend the last stretch living in Granada, Spain, finally realizing one of Candyce´s dreams to live/work/etc full time in Spanish. Nathan´s enjoyed it, too :) We´re traveling (by bicycle or otherwise), singing, translating, and continuing to enjoy this stage of life while helping and being helped along the way. Ask about Candyce´s avocado truffles if you´re a foodie...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had an excellent experience surfing as I (Nathan) cycled Marseille to Barcelona in 08... have had various fun people stay in Vancouver/Victoria. Also some great Warm Shower (couch surfing for cycle tourists) experiences in Spain (as hosts/hostees)

Nathan ha surfeado bastante, la primera vez en Francia/España 08 - genial. Hemos acogido a varias personas en Vancouver/Victoria/Granada por couchsurfing y también duchas calientes (warmshowers - sitio por cicloturistas).

音乐、电影和书籍

Nathan´s musical tastes tend towards the ancient... big fan of Renaissance/Baroque. Opera is cool. Concerning things more modern, typically something in a jazz idiom or with a latin flavour.

Candyce is the literature buff, and likes (according to Nathan) books that verge on the depressive... or something to do with Canadian Literature (Anne-Marie Macdonald, Miriam Toews, Rudy Wiebe) or Neruda or Harry Potter.
