I was born in a small town in the southern region of Brazil. At 20, I left in search of job opportunities and to pursue my college education. After a lot of effort, work, energy drinks, and beer, I graduated. But hey, I'm living the dream. Today, I hold a degree and two MBAs, and I can say that I'm doing everything I never imagined. I ended up in IT, working in the field for almost 10 years, and God help me, I'm thinking about pursuing another degree.

Speaking of dreams, I've wanted to study abroad since I was very young, but fate (and my bank account) didn't want me to explore the world. Back then, I was already talking about couchsurfing and getting to know different people, cultures, and places. I've always understood that this helps us mature and broaden our worldview, community, and connections.

Currently, I'm preparing for a trip that will last 50 days, and I can't believe I'm going to realize this dream. But until the day arrives, I continue to take care of my chihuahua, Luke Skywalker, and enjoy crocheting and knitting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share my experiences and also hear about the world. I believe that the exchange and connection that couchsurfing can provide during a trip is something unique. I want to make friends and learn about different cultures, and there’s no better place for that.

Interests

Currently, I am part of two crochet groups, one of which focuses on making blankets for abandoned dogs and cats. Regarding sports, I am very active; I enjoy biking and going to the gym. I'm also getting back to my pole dance classes, which are a lot of fun and really contribute to my physical strength!

I am quite eclectic when it comes to music. I listen to everything from Brazilian funk to Norwegian black metal.
I enjoy watching true crime series and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the most amazing thing I've ever done was when I hitchhiked to Rio de Janeiro and spent an incredible week there. Besides discovering a wonderful city, I found a new Nathália (cliché, but true).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am organized and get along very well with animals; in fact, I can help with them if needed. I enjoy cooking and also learning new things. I'm open to tips for outings and would appreciate company to visit new places.
