I like to show people around in the place that I live in just as well as I like being shown around.

Interests

I love traveling, spending time with friends, and meeting new people. I was in my local drama group for many years and was I'm involved in introduction arrangements for new students at my university. In addition to that, I enjoy creating things - including arts and crafts as well as cooking. Only recently, I discovered that I'm not quite as unathletic and unmusical as I thought and have now added running and playing the ukulele to my regular activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a teenager, I exclusively listened to punk rock. Since then, my taste in music has broadened, so now I listen to many other kinds of music besides my still beloved punk rock.

I love reading and try to do so as often as I can. One of my alltime favorites is Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy, but apart from cheesy love novels and highly philosophical works, I enjoy almost any kind of fiction as well as non-fiction.

Going to the cinema and watching movies in general is another of my favorite activities. Here, the same priorities as for novels apply - but apart from cheesy love novels and highly philosophical works, I enjoy almost any kind of fiction as well as non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an exchange student in Finland when I was 17 and at the end of our year all exchange students of our organization spent three weeks traveling most of Europe. That was a pretty amazing time and I've enjoyed traveling ever since. The second most amazing trip took place in summer 2012, where visiting lots of exciting places in the US, with some of those friends I met in Finland in 2006!
