CURRENT MISSION
Live till I die, no more, no less
ABOUT ME
I cycled from Belgium to Istanbul and in India. After injuring my knee I swaped my bicycle for a backpack and currently I`m backpacking around Asia. As much as I like cycling I like hitchhiking, it`s the best way to meet locals and end up somewhere totally different than you planned to go. Especially in India and Asia where people are not that used to hitchhikers you can end up in the funniest situations and almost always are invited to eat and sleep at peoples homes.
At the moment I`m volunteering in an organisation in Kathmandu who works with streetkids. Although I`m never sure what my next destination will be, it`s probably going to be Australia.
PHILOSOPHY
If you don't try, you don't succeed
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Untill now I only hosted two people. Although I really enjoyed it, I never stayed long enough on the same place to host more people. When I'm back from my big cycling adventure, I hope I have a big couch available for all of you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During all my travels I mostly just met people on the road per accident and didn't really use the website. But I'm looking forward to meeting new people this way.

Music, Movies, and Books
The unbearable lightness of being
Dostojevski
...
I love to listen to a lot of different music but for partying I mostly enjoy techno, minimal and house music.
I don`t really watch a lot of movies or television, but Seven years in Tibet is a movie a watched when I was a kid and I remembered it had a deep impact on me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping in the desert of Namibia and seeing the milky way above me whilst falling a sleep
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not such a bad cook, so if you like eating vegetarian food, you should definitly invite me ;) Also I can juggle four balls AND I can speak with a voice that makes it seem as if I just inhaled Helium (All the more reason to get to know me:)). I also play a little bit of guitar but I`m always willing to teach you the few things I know.
