Hey, my name is Nathalie and I live in Vienna, Austria :)

I'm a little bit shy, but I get over it quickly (or I hope so ;) ) I like using emoticons so please bear with me.

I love animals and like people as long as they aren't mean to me or others (except if they have a reason. But it must be a really good reason).

I would like to speak more languages. And I would like to see more of the world than I already have (I have still a looooong way to go).

Well I'm actually really bad at talking about myself, I hope I still piqued your interest ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several reasons. The two most important are probably that I want to meet new and interesting people. Sleeping in a foreign home is a whole new experience. Sounds interesting :P

And the other one is that you get a totally different feeling from a city if you don't sleep in a hotel. You can ask the person on whose couch you are sleeping what’s a ‘must-see’ and maybe (hopefully) you even befriend that person =)

Oh, and I forgot. A friend of mine recommended it. She has done it several times and always loved it. So I wanted to see if she is lying to me or not :P

Interests

TRAVELLING!! :D:D Seeing different cultures, getting to know a city. Just living in the moment ;)

No, but seriously, I love reading (it's kind of like travelling, without paying as much for it :P), sometimes I even write little stories my brain came up with (nothing that good, but it's always fun), playing video games.

And of course, going out and having fun with my friends, making fun of myself (you never should take yourself too seriously ;) )

Lord of the rings, Game of thrones … just fantasy books in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping. And going on a safari with tents. I slept in national parks. And there was nobody around me except the guides, the group I was travelling with and the wildlife. Never will I ever forget this trip!! I've heard lions roaring at night, I've seen leopards feed on their pray and the beautiful landscape of Africa. I've seen an orange moon and the most beautiful night sky I probably will ever see. Seriously, if you've never been to Africa before, what are you waiting for? It's an exceptional experience, at least, it was for me ;)

I'd like to learn about your culture. That's what travelling is about, right? So, I'm eager to learn ;)

What I can teach you ... I can teach a little bit German and show you the Austrian way of life :)
