About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy my freedom and find out what comes next (I just withdrew from a PhD program ;-)

ABOUT ME

I love travelling, getting to know interesting people and cultures, speaking foreign languages with a German accent, I love accents in general (I love Québécois and Scottish English!), listening to Jazz, Soul, Pop, HipHop, dancing, hanging out with friends, being alone, watching movies, reading philosophy, writing, getting new haircuts, eating Asian, Italian, Haitian, Indian and Mexican food, going to Berlin, Montreal, and NYC, sleeping, dreaming, and trying out new things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past, I only surfed on other people's couches, and had great experiences - now I would like to start hosting people - though just one person at a time a, since my apartment is tiny ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a member since december 2010 and I surfed once in Montreal, with Peter, and it was a great experience, because my host was nice and funny and took the time to show me around a bit.
Then I made a trip in May/June 2011 with a friend from Vancouver down to San Diego, and we couchsurfed in Vancouver, San Francisco, LA and San Diego - all great experiences!! Especially in San Francisco, where we were hosted by Jamie and Chris, who showed us around and let us feel at home at their place... I actually hosted Jamie lately, for a couple of days in Paris, it was nice seeing her again!
