Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I entered the site one year ago, but I wasn't a active member, so now I intend to really participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have some couchsurfing experiences from friends of my mother that where from Spain and stayed in my house while they were in Brazil and from the time that I went to Spain and stayed there for two months, it was something completely new for me. To receive people in my house it's easy because I know how everything is and how it works, so in this case you are the helpful one and when you do the couchsurfing is everything new and different and you are out your comfort zone, but it's amazing how this works and how this can change somethings is your life. I think the most important thing when you do the couchsurfing is not to be an asshole and help with the housework even if your host says it's not necessary, because you feel good about helping someone who is doing so much for you.

Interests

I'm interest in new experiences, in movies, in knowing places, in knowing new people, in music, in new plates, in getting out my comfort zone and most of all in travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is difficult, but I love Harry Potter (yeah, I know, cliche, but I love it). I love books of fiction, poems (my favorite poets are Bukowski, Neruda and Vinicius de Moraes,to be sincerely I love to read, give me something to read if I like it I will devour it as fast as I can. Regarding music I love the good and old rock'n'roll, my favorite band is Nirvana, but I also like indie, folk and a hell of other things. Ok, like my profile photo shows I love Star Wars, but my favorite movies are The Rock, Club Fight, Moulin Rouge and The Illusionist, but like everything I'm very eclectic for movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done was a few years ago, I was at a party and my friend and I went to buy something for the party (I don't remember what) in a gas stations, there we saw a homeless woman being hit by a motorcycle who run and nobody did anything and me and my friend run to help her, I kept her awake talking to her and my friend calm down her husband and we stayed there until the ambulance arrives. I think this is one of the best things I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the most important thing that you can learn and teach for everybody is your own way to see life, this can change people opinions and change your own opinions. For me this is something worth of learning and teaching. But being more pratical I can help with cooking, with english, spanish and portuguese.
