I've been all around the world, but have only been learning languages for a few years now. I wish I would have learned some earlier but better late than never!

I have white water kayaked and white water rafted the Ottawa river. Pro-tip from experience: don't try to reenter the raft from the side when no one knows you went overboard. Amongst the furious paddling, you are sure to get a paddle to the face and back under you go.
