About Me

NEW TO COUCHSURFING ☺️I'm backpacking through Southeast Asia until the end of August and am looking to meet open-minded, down-to-earth, passionate people who share my love for meeting others half way and working to make the world feel a little bit more like a giant village.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Vietnam is super affordable, even for someone on a budget like myself. The main reason I'm couchsurfing is to meet real people and find out a little bit more about what it's like to live in Vietnam.

Interests

I'm easy going. I'm also figuring out who I am and what elements of my life are essential to my well being

  • exercise
  • meditation
  • reading
  • hiking
  • camping
  • food
  • laughing
  • street food
  • chilling
  • sunsets

Music, Movies, and Books

🎶 I LOVE MUSIC! Discovering new musicians and bands is probably one of my great passions in life...I'm a singer-songwriter in my free time 😄
I love jamming as a vocalist, percussionist and guitarist.
☺️My favorite groups/solo acts to chill out to are: Feist, Norah Jones, Kings of Convenience, Jack Johnson, Claude Debussy, Alan Gogol, Patrick Watson, Men I Trust, Sticky Fingers...
🕺My favorite groups to dance to are: Coldplay, Black Eyed Pease, Technotronic, Talking Heads, Buena Vista Social Club, The Human League...

📜📚 I'm a big reader. Because I haven't read enough, I can't say that I'm a huge fan of one author. Regardless, I'm currently into Heather O'Neill, Steinbeck, Dickens, a lot of plays, a bunch of non-fiction and am looking to give away this one book, Kafka On The Shore by Murakami.

🎬 Honestly, I love watching movies, but, I'm not a cinephile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one month, solo backpacking trip throughout South East Asia is probably the most amazing thing I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can listen. I think that's one of the best things I have to offer. I'm trained in performance arts, so I've helped friends and family prepare for public speaking and other oratory events.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll help around the house (dishes, laundry, e.t.c...), move heavy things, take care of pets, and pretty much anything else. I'm extremely easy going.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cuba, England, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Spain, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
