Hello, I am new on couchsufing, you know it's hard to find your first host. Well my name is Nathan, I'm a french guy living in Paris region.
Currently I work at L'Arche ( the community founded by Jean Vanier). I'm an assistant for core members (people living with disabilities) in the market gardens.
I'm Catholic and it's important in my life!that does not mean that I'm closed, hope that you are not afraid about this, i will not try to convert you, or you will judge you, on the contrary, I wish to try to discover your own way of life ....if you have any doubt take it as a challenge ;-) in benevolence naturally
The better experience of my life was walking the pilgrimage of St Jacques (Camino Santiago), walking from the middle of France to Spain. I met so many interesting people!
I have dreamed to come to come to New York, but without meeting people it has no sense for me!
So if you have a place for me, a sofa,and would like to receive me, I don't need so much comfort, just a real experience for life in New York!

I am on Couch Surfing because I really love meeting people, in the way that they would like to share.
I'm a bit shy so coming to people's house would let me meet people, whereas I'm afraid that if I go to a hotel I would probably stay alone and lose my travel...
