About Me

Let me first copy-paste this: "I'm an easy-going guy who likes get in touch with people."

Now we're talking ;)

Jk. I'm ADHD btw. In other words, I like to live intensely. So much in fact that my brain can't concentrate whenever NOT living intensely, .. Say, on a boring everyday life 9 to 5 job?

Not for me. Slowly figuring out what job I am made for. Any ideas?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made new friends via this site, who I like to visit from time to time, with whom I stay in touch. It is great to meet welcoming kind people wherever you go and have meaningful deep conversations.
I get inspired from different lifestyles than mine, and I always see the best of them, and sometimes implement some of their good habits in my own lifestyle.

Interests

MAPS. I have a chronic map obsession. Before travelling I always study the map, mostly on Google, to bookmark.

NATURE. I'm a nature freak. Love mountains, landscapes. Just listen to the song Powered By Nature - Secret Garden, you'll get the feeling out of it. I'm in Grenoble by no mistake.

BIKE. OMG. How can I explain this.. I am a fragile product of human evolution that can NOT survive without a bike. I'm a velocipede. I cycle prolly more than I breathe. At any moment, I'd rather be travelling by bike:

My first time was along the Rhine up to Mainz and back.
Second From home to Innsbruck, Austria through southern France and Italy

Then some little ones, tour du mont blanc, vosges, vouglans...dude I'm losing track of em, but the photos are eternal 😊

Summer 2017: Porto to Besançon by bike through the Pyrenees & Alps. 2800 km, 35000m positive elevation, you know, nothing much

Other interests:
Connection through deep meaningful talk,
joking (whenever I'm in the zone you'll have a good time guaranteed😜), reading
Sports (you know, we ADHD's like to move it move it) Song ref #1

Music: I play piano and guitar.
Knowledge, spirituality

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Secret Garden (instrumental music), VA. Pretty much any song with a sweet, tender voice and/or beautiful lyrics.

Books: The brain that changes itself, Unlimited Power, The biology of beliefs. There's a lot on my reading list! I prefer reading articles in my subjects of interest: science, medicine, evolution, psychology, and sometimes history

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycle 180 km in one day: Geneva to Besançon, through the Jura mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a self-taught cook, you can show me how you cook your favorite dish, and since it takes time, I can share with you my story (oh would you share your dollar with me :D You know, the song)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nice hospitality, company, a good discussion, drinks, maybe a meal.. A bike tour of my city whenever possible. A hug upon leaving if we connect

Countries I’ve Visited

Algeria, Austria, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Egypt, France
