Hi! My name is Nathan and I love to travel and immerse myself into local cultures.

I am an honest person who does a lot of volunteering and work in my small community. I have been very heavily involved in Rotary have also given my time to help organise events for Cancer Council Queensland and the local community carols. I am very heavily committed to youth and the development of leadership of young people and have been a guest speaker at a number of youth conventions. I have also run as a candidate for the 2016 Federal (national) election in Australia.

I have studies history/archaeology and international studies at university and now also completing qualification in Work Health & Safety, Landcare and Conservation Management, Communications and Marketing, Project Management, Government, Business and Travel and Tourism. I am someone that loves to continually learn new things.

I am a non smoker and keep my home clean and tidy, I have a police clearance and are working with children accredited. I would love for you to consider me as your potential Aussie friends that I could one day return the favour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling for me isn't all about the biggest tourist attractions. For me, I love getting to know new people and having a world wide list of friends. I want to get to know the locals and experience the things that only the locals can tell me and the things that aren't in the travel mags, the hidden gems. I love immersing myself into the culture fully, learning the language and understanding different traditions.
