I'm slightly obsessed with travelling in order to see the world and experience other cultures first hand. Wildlife is a huge passion of mine and part of why I am so fascinated with Africa. In Africa they have the most diverse wildlife that you could ever imagine as well as such a broad base of culture. I've been in love with the continent since I first stepped foot on it in 2013.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing in order to get a better fisrt-hand experience of local culture in a not so touristy fashion. It also helps to save a bit of cash when travelling. When at home I love the idea of hosting others in order to learn about their cultures and show them around my home city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music and my tastes vary through a wide range. Some of my favorites are: The Creepshow, Hellbound Hepcats, The Brains, Motley Crue, Faster Pussycat, In Flames, Huntress, Butcher Babies, JD Edwards Band, Lindi Ortega, Bon Iver, and The Cat Empire.

When it comes to movies I love action or comedy, but again enjoy many types. My favorite 2 movies of all time are Scarface and The Usual Suspects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone scuba diving with sharks in the Aliwal Shoal off the coast of South Africa which was an amazing experience. It was supposed to be with Tiger sharks. However, it was unfortunate that none showed up. We did get 20-30 Oceanic Blacktips though.

I also no cage dove in False Bay with 7 Gill Sharks 2 days after cage diving with Great Whites at Seal Island.
