Hello there :)

I'm Nathan from Switzerland. I work in a store as a salesperson and besides of that I'm also in politics and in the army (but I think you already know that when you klicked on my profile picture ;)

The world has a lot of beautiful places and for me, every country and culture is very interesting. Every person got his own story to tell and I love to get to know these stories. I love it to go on big hikes with my tent. But also I like to go in a bar and just drink a beer or read a book at home.

I play the guitar and the bass guitar, so I really love music. I played in a punkrock band for some years and now I founded my own band last year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new countries, cultures, food and so much more. I don't like staying in hotels and just be a tourist that goes to the pool and talks with other tourists. I want to go directly into the people that are living in this country and be a part of them for a little time. Get to know the real beauty of the country but also find out, what the problems are in some countries.
And because I want to sleep at some other persons couches, I also offer my couch for other persons. I would love to show some people my beautiful country, our mountains or cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different music. Mostly I really like Metal. My favorite bands are Nightwish, Unleash the Archers, Equilibrium or Eluveitie. Besides of Metal I also listen to things like Elvis Presley, David Coffin or Kalandra. And I love ABBA! One minute I scream to my metal music and the next minute I sing to "Dancing Queen", it's weird, I know ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I used couchsurfing my first time, I went to some Youtubers in Germany. I helped them to build an underground bunker. This was really fun!

Many years ago I went with a group of people to Sweden. When I was in Sweden I fell totally in love with the nature. I went a lot of hiking, did some bike tours, fishing and was looking for mooses.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I worked as a professional housekeeper for many years, so I can help you with a lot of things like cleaning or repair thing. Also I really like to cook, so if you enjoy good food, lay back and let me cook for you :-)
Also I have a lot of interesting stories to tell, so if you want to hear some while we're having a beer, I would love to tell you something about my life and hear something about your life.
