I'm a goofy guy that loves a good adventure. Always down to offer a helping hand wherever my random abilities will allow. I've been described as thrill-seeking, compassionate, and soft-spoken. My ability to sum myself up in a short but sweet few paragraphs currently eludes me.. although I have been known to drop the phrase "middle-aged Midwestern housewife" 🤪 from time to time— as well as (mostly) mild-mannered mad man.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to see and experience more of the world, while meeting and sharing said experience with awesome folks. I've been bit by the wanderlust bug and have made it a mission to tackle more travel— hoping to partake in a few more cross-country bike tours in my future. I've always found that getting a local take on the place your in is always a welcome part of truly experiencing that location.

It's a great pleasure of mine to have fostered friendships with a number of undeniably impactful fleeting people, and am always up to meet more of these unicorns. I was pointed toward this site by a well-traveled friend, who's also introduced me to a few awesome people that she has had the opportunity to host on their travels.

My musical tastes are a bit eclectic. I dig all sorts of sounds, from punk to funk, old school + underground hip-hop, moldy oldies, as well as a plethora of rock music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bicycle across most of the southeastern part of the US, traveling from Milwaukee to New Orleans.

Recently had the chance to try hang gliding; hands down, most exhilarating aerial experience to date.
