About Me
Hello! I am an incoming student at the London School of Economics this autumn, where I'll be studying Comparative Politics. I am fascinated by politics with a special love for British and American politics and current affairs. I am seeking to work in mainland Europe in the coming years and hope to travel around as much of Western Europe as is possible in the meantime.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Specifically this summer, I haven't found accomodation yet for the long-term in Calais, where I will be volunteering. The hostels are unexpectedly (from my viewpoint, not theirs) full. So in the meantime I will try couchsurfing, and reciprocate the favour when I get home to the US via the service.
Interests
Politics of all kinds, cultures of most kinds, languages, history (especially European history), and though I've lost my interest, I'm an expert on the Middle East.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some classical, some hip-hop and more mainstream as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wouldn't say I've done anything quite amazing, yet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very much focused on learning French. During my time in France, and this is one of the reasons I prefer couchsurfing, I would hope to speak as much French as I can with as many people as I can. I am still a beginner but expect to improve rapidly.
